API Rate Limits

The per-minute rate limit belongs to the plan on that API. On the Pricing tab it is labeled Rate Limit, in requests per minute. It is not the same number on every API.

If the plan has no rate limit stored, the fallback is 60 requests per minute for Basic, Pro, and Free, 120 for Pro Plus and Premium, and 240 for Elite and Ultimate.

Going over the limit returns HTTP 429 with error Rate Limit Exceeded. The response states that plan's requests-per-minute cap and says to upgrade the plan or email hello@zylalabs.com.

The count resets every minute. Headers X-Zyla-RateLimit-Remaining and X-Zyla-RateLimit-Reset-Seconds show requests left this minute and seconds until reset.

The monthly quota is separate. Only successful HTTP 200 responses count toward it. Those headers are X-Zyla-API-Calls-Monthly-Limit and X-Zyla-API-Calls-Monthly-Remaining.
