Learn how Zyla API Hub subscriptions renew, how to manage cancellations, and how the Soft Limit feature helps you avoid service interruptions.
Zyla API Hub: Monthly/yearly subscriptions start on the purchase day and auto-renew. Charges cover the upcoming cycle's usage. Canceling forfeits any remaining credits, so we recommend canceling prior to renewal to avoid additional charges.
Understanding how billing works is important to manage your subscription effectively. Here’s a breakdown:
Recurring Monthly or Yearly Subscription
Zyla API Hub operates on a recurring monthly or yearly subscription system, depending on what you choose when subscribing.
When you purchase one of our paid plans, your billing cycle starts immediately and renews automatically on the same day of the following month (or year, for annual plans).
Renewal and Charges
On the renewal date of your billing cycle, your subscription is automatically extended for another month or year. Charges for the selected plan are applied to your payment method on file, covering the next period of API usage and access.
Cancellation
If you cancel your subscription, any remaining credits, including unused API calls for that cycle, will be forfeited.
Make sure to cancel before the renewal date to avoid charges for the next period. To cancel, you can follow the instructions on our website or contact our support team at hello[@]zylalabs.com.
Soft Limit Feature
Zyla API Hub includes a Soft Limit feature that allows you to continue making API calls even after reaching your plan’s monthly limit. This prevents service interruptions and gives you flexibility to handle unexpected increases in usage.
Here’s how it works:
- Once you surpass the number of calls included in your plan, any additional usage is counted as an overage.
- You’ll be charged at the end of your billing cycle for these extra API calls. The overage amount appears on your invoice at the start of the next cycle.
- The price per additional API call depends on the specific API you’re subscribed to. You can check this cost on the Pricing page of each API.
The soft limit is enabled by default when subscribing to the API. You can enable or disable the Soft Limit feature anytime from the Subscription settings in your account.
👉 Manage your Subscriptions
⚠️ Important:
If you exceed your limits and have unpaid Soft Limit invoices, Zyla API Hub may suspend your service. Subscription fees already paid during any suspension period are non-refundable.
